The second quote I think means that when you take a picture of someone it takes a part if them because on the picture they show what they like or love to do.
2. I think that it means that he puts his effort in his photos and that it expresses him in a way because he sees himself in them.
3. It means that if you put a lot of effort in your photos that it's like your creating the photo your self.
4. This means that paintings are just memories where as photos tell the truth based in whose looking at it.
